Welcome to the Sciences forum! We've created this forum as a sort-of tie-in to our Recovering from Religion forum. We've found through our own experiences that many who grow up in religious fundamentalism have not had the freedom to enjoy learning and studying our universe, due to conflicts those studies may have with certain religious beliefs. For this reason, many who have outgrown their religion find themselves knowing very little about scientific laws, processes, discoveries, and theories. We hope this forum will be an educational environment, so feel free to bring your questions and ask them openly here. There are no dumb questions! We hope to have several friends who are more knowledgeable in scientific studies visit often and share their expertise -- if you find yourself in this category your contributions here would be greatly appreciated.
